The Resurrection Choir is a group made up of volunteers from the parish who wish to share their musical talents during funeral liturgies.

This group gathers 30 minutes before each funeral liturgy, practices once a month, and will sing the hymns chosen by the family for the liturgy. Funerals will be communicated to the members of this choir by email.

Attendance at every funeral is not required to be a member of the Resurrection Choir. Come when you can and lend your voice! If interested, please contact Paul Szczerowski, Music Director (contact information at bottom).

New Concert Grand Piano for Our Church

Our beloved sanctuary piano at Mary Mother of Peace, which has faithfully served over many years, has reached the end of its life. To continue supporting our growing church choir and expanding concert series programs, we need a larger and more sophisticated instrument. The new concert grand piano will also enhance the worship experience for our increasing number of attendees at Mass.

Investing in this new piano is a testament to our commitment to artistic excellence, spiritual growth, and the well-being of our cherished church community. By replacing our aging sanctuary piano, we are paving the way for a brighter and more harmonious future.

Stay tuned for forthcoming fundraising announcements by the parish Music Ministry in a few weeks, outlining a “buy a key program” and a parish fall festival to support the same. Together, we can ensure that our music continues to inspire and uplift our community. Thank you for your support and prayers.
